The Imani Seven Forks Half Marathon is an annual charity race in Kenya, organized to support the orphaned and needy children of Imani Christian School in Embu County.
First launched in 2023, the 2025 race marks the third edition of this growing and impactful event. It brings together athletes, corporate partners, schools, and community groups in a unified noble cause.
The marathon is sanctioned by Athletics Kenya and supported by numerous public and private partners. The race takes place along the scenic Seven Forks hydro dams at the Gitaru Circuit in Embu County, in strategic partnership with KenGen.
Established in 2017, Imani Christian School is home to over 200 vulnerable children from and around Embu county. It stands out as one of the few institutions in the region devoted to delivering comprehensive academic and personal development for underprivileged learners.
The school’s approach adopts a holistic formation - Heart, Head, and Hands. Here, we begin by restoring their sense of safety, love and belonging (heart), we follow this by equipping them with knowledge & education, (head) then empowering them with practical life skills (hands).
